Trust & ownership

QuickCode is not chat that dumps code. You own a standard repository, keep versioned decisions, and regenerate safely while custom code stays yours.

Ownership

Ownership, quality, and consistency
QuickCode is not chat that dumps code. You design architecture and data, generate a real repository, orchestrate workflows, and deploy — while keeping decisions versioned.
You own the code
Generated projects are standard .NET / Node.js solutions with Docker and CI. They run on Google Cloud Run by default and can move to your own Kubernetes cluster or VM. Clone the public QuickCodeStudio/demo repository — build and deploy without QuickCode in the loop.
Quality is template-driven, not black-box
The durable backbone comes from scaffolds, DBML/DSL contracts, and workflow definitions — not one-off AI snippets. HTTP resilience patterns (for example Polly-based retries) ship in the templates. AI helps design and refine plans; regeneration updates generated layers without wiping your custom code. Add your own quality gates (SonarQube, formatters, security scanners) in the generated GitHub Actions pipelines.
Consistency across modules is orchestrated
Modules communicate over Kafka-backed events and executable YAML workflows with retries, timeouts, and failure/compensation branches. That is how cross-service business flows are modeled — not as silent two-phase commit. Advanced patterns such as transactional Outbox remain explicit design choices you extend in code and workflows, not magic invented per prompt.

Living documentation

Decisions and docs that evolve with the system
Analysis, architecture, DBML, APIs, and workflows live with the code. Version history and the approved BRD keep the “why” next to the “what,” so new developers and AI assistants share the same project context.
Versioned decisions
BRD approval, analysis versions, DBML revisions, and workflow versions form an auditable trail — not chat scrollback.
Project & module context
Project SOT and module SOTs ground Ask Your Project and later AI edits in the real system.
AI Rule Pack
Generated projects include AGENTS.md and assistant instruction files. Regeneration preserves them so Cursor, Copilot, and Claude keep the same boundaries.
Onboarding context
New teammates read the same living artifacts the generator used — architecture diagrams, contracts, and workflow definitions in the repo.

Safe evolution

Safe regenerate keeps custom code Safe regenerate keeps custom code
Safe regenerate
Regenerate without losing your work
The generated layer refreshes when you regenerate after DBML or plan changes. Custom business logic stays in files QuickCode never overwrites. Confirm before existing modules are replaced.
Generated vs custom split
Controllers, DTOs, repositories, and scaffolding rewrite on regen; your custom endpoints and validation stay.
No vendor lock-in
Clone a standard .NET / Node.js solution with Docker and CI. The public demo repo builds and deploys without QuickCode in the loop.
Quality gates you add
Add SonarQube, formatters, or security scanners in the generated GitHub Actions pipelines — quality stays under your control.

AI Rule Pack (Persistent)

Every generated project includes AI-readable guide files so code generation follows consistent project rules from the first prompt to the latest regeneration.

  • What is added: rule and guide files such as AGENTS.md and AI instruction files.
  • How AI uses it: the generator and AI assistants read these files before creating or updating code.
  • Why it is safe: regeneration preserves these files, so your generation behavior stays stable over time.
