Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using QuickCode. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QuickCode, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of Service

QuickCode is a microservice generator platform that enables users to generate production-ready microservices from DBML (Database Markup Language) diagrams. The service includes:

  • DBML diagram editing and management
  • Automated microservice code generation
  • GitHub repository creation and code deployment
  • CLI tool for project management
  • Project hosting and access management

QuickCode is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

While QuickCode does not require formal account registration, users must provide accurate information when creating projects:

  • Email Address: You must provide a valid email address for project identification
  • Secret Code: You are responsible for creating and maintaining the security of your secret codes
  • Project Information: All project information must be accurate and up-to-date

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your project access credentials (email and secret code). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your projects.

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your project credentials, regardless of whether such activities are authorized by you.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use QuickCode only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws)
  • Transmit any viruses, worms, defects, trojan horses, or any items of a destructive nature
  • Spam, abuse, harass, or harm other users
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or any other systems or networks
  • Use the service to generate code that violates intellectual property rights of others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without permission

5. Intellectual Property

QuickCode Platform

The QuickCode platform, including its design, functionality, source code, and documentation, is the exclusive property of QuickCode and its licensors. All rights, title, and interest in and to the service remain with QuickCode.

Generated Code

All code generated by QuickCode for your projects belongs to you. You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to the generated code, including the right to modify, distribute, and use it for any purpose.

Your DBML and Project Data

You retain ownership of your DBML files and project data. By using QuickCode, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and use your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Privacy and Data

Your use of QuickCode is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By using QuickCode, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy, including:

  • Email addresses for project identification
  • Project names and configurations
  • DBML files and diagrams
  • Secret codes (encrypted and stored securely)
  • Usage data and analytics

You have the right to request deletion of your data. Contact us at [email protected] to request data deletion.

7. Service Availability

QuickCode is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be available at all times
  • The service will be free from errors or interruptions
  • All features will function as expected
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

We do not provide any uptime guarantee or service level agreement (SLA).

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICKCODE AND ITS PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $0 if you used the free service.

We are not responsible for:

  • Any data loss or corruption
  • Issues with generated code or its functionality
  • Problems with third-party services (GitHub, cloud providers, etc.)
  • Security breaches resulting from your failure to protect your credentials
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickCode, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your use of generated code in violation of applicable laws

10. Termination

You may stop using QuickCode at any time by simply ceasing to access the service. You may also request deletion of your projects and data by contacting us.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions
  • Violation of applicable laws
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Misuse of the service

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. We may delete your projects and data without prior notice. However, generated code in GitHub repositories will remain unless you delete it yourself.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
